Install CCT prior to installing any of the other JCI downloads, including SCT. Download and extract the installation zip file. In the extracted directory browse to:

The exact folder and .exe name vary by CCT version; use the installer inside the package you downloaded.

Install the desired version of CCT by right-click > Run as administrator, then reboot.

Complete these steps before re-installing or upgrading a current CCT installation. Once finished, proceed with the new installation steps above. If you have any custom CCT applications, move or copy them to a safe location first.

Custom modules, perspectives, or attribute templates:

Custom CCT object naming or selection trees:

• Uninstall CCT with Remove Databases checked, then reboot.
• Delete these folders if they still exist: C:\Program Files (x86)\Johnson Controls\CCT C:\ProgramData\Johnson Controls\MetasysIII\CCT C:\ProgramData\Johnson Controls\MetasysIII\DataAccess
• Uninstall SQL with Windows Add/Remove programs if required for a clean reinstall.
• Install the desired CCT version (right-click > Run as administrator), reboot, then copy custom CCT content back to the default folders.

Licenses and Field Controller Packages are not affected by this process.

Note: Installing SCT uses ports 80 and 443. That matters if Niagara or another service needs those ports on the same machine.

License keys to activate each software tool are sent directly from Controlco once the software license is purchased. Use Software Manager to activate each tool after install.
