Installation Instructions for Johnson Controls CCT - New Installation

Install CCT prior to installing any of the other JCI downloads, including SCT.  Download and extract the installation zip file.  In the extracted directory browse to: 

C:\Extracted File Path\ControllerConfigurationTool\Controller Configuration Tool (CCT)\Controller Configuration Tool\ControllerConfigurationTool_14.0.1.exe

Install the desired version of CCT by right-click>Run As Administrator, reboot.

Johnson Controls CCT - Re-Installation

These steps need to be completed prior to re-installation or upgrade of a current CCT installation.  Once complete, proceede with the new installation steps above.  If you have any custom CCT applications, you will want to move or copy them to a safe location.

Any custom modules, perspectives, or attribute templates are found in:
C:\ProgramData\JohnsonControls\MetasysIII\CCT\UI

Any custom CCT object naming or selection trees are found in:
C:\ProgramData\JohnsonControls\MetasysIII\CCT\Configuration\Backup

Uninstall CCT with 'Remove Databases' checked, reboot.

Delete the following folders if they still exist:
C:\Program Files(x86)\Johnson Controls\CCT
C:\ProgramData\Johnson Controls\MetasysIII\CCT
C:\ProgramData\Johnson Controls\MetasysIII\DataAccess

Uninstall SQL with Windows Add/Remove programs

Install the desired version of CCT using right-click>Run As Administrator, reboot. Copy your custom CCT stuff back to the default folder locations. Your Licenses & Field Controller Packages are NOT affected by this process.

**Note: Installing SCT will utilize port 80 and 443.  This is important if you have anything else that may need those ports to operate, i.e. Niagara, on your machine.  Read this for a workaround.

**License Keys to activate each of the software tools will be sent directly from Controlco once the software license has been purchased.  The "Software Manager" is used to activate each tool once installed.
